I am running for office because I want to serve the best interests of the people. I have for years in private conversations with friends said the
public needs to have good persons step up and run for office. After some consideration, I decided I needed to be one of those persons. It is up to you
individual voters to decide if I am one of those good persons we need. Please read my positions and posts and decide for yourself.
I believe in full disclosure of a candidates opinions. If you have any questions on any of my viewpoints, please feel free to follow up with any
questions. I will try to answer as clearly and comprehensively as I can. I do not consider myself to have all the answers. I can promise only careful
and reasoned consideration of each issue.
A governing principle of mine in the legislature will be that we are a nation and state of laws, the primary and highest law of which in our system
is the constitution. The first question in considering any law will be is it constitutional. As I aspire to be a lawmaker, lawmakers must first and
foremost be governed by the law.
I am not a previous office holder. Regardless of my experience, I pledge, if elected, to work to pass only those laws which are necessary for the
public good and do not unnecessarily infringe on the rights of the individual. So much as I am able, I will work to repeal any regulation or law which
does not meet that criteria. I will not vote “yes” on any legislation I have not read and reasonably comprehended.
I will actively solicit input from you the people that I represent, and will endeavor to make time to see each of my individual constituents whom I
represent as often as requested. I will not sell out to corporations or lobbyists. I will lose rather than sell out the people of the 15th District.
I am on the Nov. 2, 2010 ballot with US Taxpayers Party. If you want someone to take a stand for the rights of the people, to work to pass fair and
equitable legislation, and when opportunity presents itself, to speak up for the less fortunate, then I request your vote. I don't write this casually,
this is exactly what I intend to do. If, after I am elected, you feel that I am not representing the good of the people, and that I have not kept my word,
then please, in that case, vote me out.
